Electrostatic Spray Painting
Most of our electrostatic spray painting work is on window sills and door frames. These aren’t as exciting to photograph.
This month, however, we did a restoration project on our offices. The before and after photos of staircase are much more dramatic.
Our painters start by prepping the metal pieces that are going to be sprayed. We worked on the door, the stairs, and that pole.
Unlike other painting processes, this method includes running an electrical current through the metal object.
The paint goes through a spray gun runs with an opposite charge, attracting it to the metal surface.
There is less over spray which means less cleanup, and without paint brushes, the finish is smooth.
